Obama (again)

I have been thinking a great deal about this controversy. It seems to me that we are getting only a partial view of this minister and this church. So, I dug around to find some articles to give myself a bit more perspective. I hope we will all continue to read and think.

Personally, I think the racist stuff is exaggerated. (I think it is a bit like being a feminist. Being a feminist does not mean that you are for female superiority, rather, you are for equality between men and women.) I think Wright and this Black church are saying that they are for true equality with whites. I certainly wouldn't disagree that our country is run by rich white people. I'd sure like to change that, though. I'd like to see it run by the people (all the people) for the people. And I still think Obama is the one to lead us all.
